Ambit appointed to deliver the refurbishment of Folio – 38 Finsbury Square

Ambit has been appointed by Legal & General to deliver the refurbishment of Folio – 38 Finsbury Square, a landmark commercial building in the heart of the City of London.

The project will transform the existing building through a comprehensive repositioning, including the remodelling of floorplates, an extension from seven to nine storeys, the installation of a new curtain wall façade, refurbishment of the existing Portland stone, and the introduction of new stone cladding.

Once complete, the repositioned building will provide circa 70,000 sq ft of Cat A office space, delivering a modern workplace for the next generation of occupiers

The redevelopment presents a complex engineering and delivery challenge within a constrained City centre location. Working closely with the wider project team, Ambit is helping to bring forward a building that balances contemporary workplace requirements with the character and heritage of the area.
