Climate & Circularity

Circular construction is the future of asset performance. The Waterman project reused 2.3 tonnes of structural steel, over 5,000 bricks, and 185sqm of timber flooring, while three tonnes of redundant glazing became terrazzo worktops.

Rochester Row cut embodied carbon by reusing lighting, ductwork, doors, flooring, and ironmongery. Bloomsbury House recycled 1.3 tonnes of single-glazed glass, which were crushed and remanufactured in collaboration with Saint-Gobain Glass, preventing 0.9 tonnes of CO₂ from entering the atmosphere.

With 80% of the UK’s 2050 buildings already in use, retrofit and reuse are the only scalable path to net-zero. Every project is viewed through a carbon lens.
